After a long night of stretching and massage, Paddy felt ready to go. Not 3/4 of a mile in, something tweaked on his knee and it was torture from there on. ”It’s an 8.5 out of 10 in pain” Paddy said. Did he stop? Nope he pushed on along to Peoria.
Today had us on the Rock Island State Trail, from Toulon to Peoria. It was a local train line that served the farming communities along the way from 1871 thru the 1950′s. Now it is a well groomed Trail for walking, cycling, and ofcourse running.
We met up with our support crew a couple of time through out the day, always a grateful sight.
In Peoria, we ended up at the AmericInn, who is one of this years sponsor.
Check out Paddy’s video of the day.
